# Asking dev updates of scheme switching

Hi, I’m working on the implementations of HE algorithm, and I am particularly interested in using openFHE due to its support for various popular schemes. Noticing the thread [progress-of-scheme-switching](https://openfhe.discourse.group/t/progress-of-scheme-switching/299), I would like to inquire if there is a development version or any updates of this scheme switching algorithm that you can make in public. I’m trying a specific and simple use case in mind, for instance, to multiply two (polynomial) messages in the BFV scheme, extract the coefficients, and perform binary operations using TFHE.

We will publicly release CKKS ↔ FHEW/TFHE scheme switching soon (in July - in v1.1). Note that we are not adding yet BFV ↔ FHEW/TFHE scheme switching as it requires BFV bootstrapping. This feature will be added in a later version of OpenFHE.
