# Program killed during generating bootstrapping key

I suggest [this topic](https://openfhe.discourse.group/t/bootstrapping-automorphismkey-keys-exceeds-maximum-protobuf-size-of-2gb/505/2). The formula for the automorphism keys requires the depth of the circuit \ell and N. From my experience, automorphism keys are smaller with less slots (bootstrapping is indeed a little bit faster)
